Rose C. Glitschka, a 28 year old web designer, founded Glitschka R. C. in 2005 after graduating from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio with her Bachelors of Science in Web Design and a subsequent Bachelors degree in E-commerce. These two degrees were achieved in only three years, a year and half ahead of projection.
A natural eye for design, color, and lines Rose has always loved art and creative expression. These talents complimented her other drive, programming. Writing functional, structured code has been another passion of hers for many years. Bringing these two skills together she found her calling in web design.
Learning skills even before she entered school she had already had three years of graphics design experience with several graphics programs including Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. Her love of learning and expanding on her skills didn’t stop there, however. Rose has also studied several programming languages not covered in her schooling like PHP. One of her favorite web languages is CSS, Cascading Style Sheets, which she uses in all of her designs, maximizing on it multitude of possibilities by using it not only to set font and text properties, but to aid in layout, form, and design.
Always wanting more so that she might better help her clients, Rose is currently enrolling in a Masters program for Web Design with a second certificate in E-Commerce. Building on the skills that she has already established with her work and schooling.
